Tehachapi, CA (July 15, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a hit-and-run reported late on the afternoon of July 10 along SR-202 near Jeffery Rd, close to the Frosty King restaurant in Tehachapi.
According to CHP reports, the call was initially logged as a traffic collision with no injuries. A short time later, the report was updated to indicate a hit-and-run involving injuries. Early details indicate the suspect vehicle left the roadway after reportedly driving aggressively and striking a curb before fleeing from the area.
