Reading, PA (July 23, 2026) – One person was reported hurt following a traffic accident on eastbound US-422 just before the Lancaster Ave exit in Reading on Monday, July 20.
Emergency units were called to the roadway at about 4:16 p.m. after receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash involving injuries. Initial information identified the roadway as eastbound US-422 just before the Lancaster Ave exit within the City of Reading.
The number of vehicles involved and the extent of the reported injuries were not immediately released. The cause of the crash remains under review as additional information is gathered.
