Irondequoit, NY (January 22, 2026) – Emergency personnel responded on Thursday to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries on the westbound side of the Bay Bridge in Irondequoit.
The incident, classified as a Basic Life Support (BLS) routine, occurred during the day and involved at least one vehicle. Responders arrived on scene to assess the situation and provide medical aid to the injured. While the injuries were not considered life-threatening, at least one individual received treatment at the scene.
Traffic along the westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge was temporarily halted as crews worked to secure the area and clear the involved vehicle. No major delays were reported, and the roadway was reopened shortly after emergency services completed their response.
