Kahului, HI (March 9, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kahului on Monday. The crash occurred along Old Haleakala Highway near the area of a Krispy Kreme shop.
Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. Responders worked to assist the injured person and manage the area while the situation was assessed.
Officials have not released details about the vehicle involved or the identity of the pedestrian. Information about the severity of the injuries has also not been confirmed, and the crash remains under investigation.
