Kansas City, MO (January 18, 2026) – A 35-year-old woman was taken to St. Luke’s North Hospital after sustaining injuries in a vehicle accident on Saturday evening near NW Barry Rd in Kansas City. Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after 5:30 p.m. and provided initial treatment before transporting the driver for further care.
According to reports from dispatch audio, the vehicle involved showed damage on the driver’s side. The woman, who was the sole occupant, complained of a swollen and deformed left wrist but did not report any head injuries or loss of consciousness. She was treated with pain medication while en route to the hospital and was listed in stable condition upon arrival.
No additional vehicles were reported in the crash, and the cause of the accident remains under review. Authorities have not released further information as of this time.
