Lancaster, PA (January 11, 2026) – A serious pedestrian crash in Lancaster City left three individuals injured, including a child, following a traumatic incident at a busy intersection.
The collision occurred at the intersection of East Chestnut Street and North Franklin Street, where emergency crews responded to reports of multiple people struck by a vehicle. According to initial reports, two adults and one child were hit while crossing or walking near the roadway under yet-unknown circumstances.
Lancaster City Fire and Rescue, along with emergency medical services, arrived quickly and rendered aid at the scene. Two of the victims reportedly sustained Class 1 trauma-level injuries and were immediately transported to a nearby trauma center for further care. The third victim was also treated for injuries consistent with a serious crash involving pedestrian impact.
Officials have not released further details regarding the identities or conditions of the injured individuals. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement as the investigation began.
Authorities closed off the intersection temporarily to allow for medical response and scene analysis.
