Philadelphia, PA (January 11, 2026) – Two individuals were taken to the hospital following a serious traffic accident early Sunday morning along Ridge Avenue near Crescent Street in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.
According to dispatch communications, the crash occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. on January 11. Emergency crews from Medic 4 and Medic 5 arrived on scene and confirmed that two occupants required transport to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been publicly released.
Authorities temporarily shut down Ridge Ave to facilitate emergency operations and ensure safety. Additional units were requested to assist with the scene, and SEPTA officials were notified due to the impact on local transit access in the area.
