Las Vegas, NV (January 11, 2026) – At least one person was injured following a traffic collision on Saturday night at the intersection of Karen Ave and S Maryland Pkwy in the eastern part of Las Vegas. Authorities responded to the scene around 8:50 p.m. to assess injuries and secure the area.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department classified the incident as a 401B, an accident involving injuries. Emergency crews arrived quickly to evaluate the scene and assist those hurt in the collision. Details about the number of vehicles involved or the extent of the injuries have not yet been made public, but medics rendered aid on-site and transported at least one individual for further medical care.
The crash led to partial traffic disruption at the intersection as law enforcement officers directed vehicles around the blocked lanes. Investigators remained on scene for some time as they worked to determine the cause of the collision, including reviewing traffic signals, roadway conditions, and possible driver behavior prior to impact.
