Las Vegas, NV (May 15, 2026) – A rollover crash on Friday morning left one person injured on the northbound I-11 ramp to southbound I-15 in the Spaghetti Bowl interchange. Emergency units responded around 6:04 a.m. after reports of a multi-vehicle collision involving a rollover.
According to the Nevada State Police, a gray Toyota Tacoma struck a gray Toyota Scion while traveling through the ramp area. The impact caused the Tacoma to roll onto its side, blocking part of the roadway and triggering major traffic delays during the morning commute.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The condition of the injured individual has not been released. Multiple state troopers and towing crews worked at the scene to clear the damaged vehicles and reopen the ramp.
All lanes were temporarily shut down while emergency units managed cleanup and documented the scene. The roadway has since reopened to traffic.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and more details will be released as they become available. We are thinking of those injured as they continue to recover.
What Is Commonly Reviewed in Ramp and Freeway Interchange Crashes?
After crashes in freeway interchanges, investigators typically focus on lane changes, merging patterns, and vehicle speed through curved ramp sections. These areas often require quick adjustments, especially where multiple routes connect within a short distance.
Road design and visibility are also reviewed to determine whether drivers had clear sightlines before impact. Sharp turns, elevation changes, and heavy traffic flow can all contribute to reduced reaction time.
Vehicle damage and final rest positions help reconstruct how the collision unfolded, including whether a rollover occurred immediately or after secondary impact. Traffic conditions at the time are also considered when analyzing how the crash developed.
