Lincoln, NE (January 12, 2026) – A vehicle collision near N 27th St on Saturday morning left one man injured and prompted a response from Lincoln Fire and Rescue units. Engine 2 and Medic 10 were dispatched to Zone 21 following the incident, which occurred around 10:00 a.m.
A 24-year-old male involved in the crash reported a knee injury at the scene. Medical personnel provided on-site care, and further treatment was expected depending on the extent of the injury. While the details are still developing, reports indicated that another vehicle may have been involved and possibly left the area after prior contact with the injured driver.
Lincoln police were also on scene to assist with the investigation and traffic control. At this time, no additional injuries have been reported, and authorities are working to determine the full circumstances of the crash.
