Long Beach, CA (January 18, 2026) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a serious motorcycle crash Friday night that left at least one person injured and reports of a possible fatality.
The collision occurred on January 17 near the intersection of Redondo Ave and East 3rd St. Dispatchers categorized the incident as both a 901T and a 901K, indicating a traffic collision with injuries and a potential fatal outcome. Upon arrival, crews confirmed a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
Medics began immediate medical treatment at the scene. While the full extent of injuries has not been publicly confirmed, emergency codes used during the response suggest one or more individuals may have suffered critical or fatal injuries.
The intersection remained active as first responders worked to secure the area and begin an investigation into the cause of the crash. The Long Beach Police Department has not yet released further details.
