Long Beach, CA (January 5, 2026) – A violent multi-vehicle collision late Sunday night left two people dead and three others injured near the intersection of 6th Street and Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The crash was reported at approximately 10:15 p.m. on January 4 and involved up to four vehicles, including one that overturned during the impact. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and confirmed two fatalities resulting from the collision.
Three additional individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released, and the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Authorities closed off the area around the intersection for several hours as officers conducted an on-scene investigation and emergency crews cleared debris from the roadway.
