Los Angeles, CA (January 31, 2026) – A serious crash with reported injuries occurred late Friday night at the intersection of W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St in South Los Angeles. The collision took place shortly before midnight on January 30 and triggered a major emergency response.
First responders, including medics and officers from South Traffic Division, arrived on scene under Code 3 conditions to assist those injured. Paramedics worked to treat individuals suffering from a variety of injuries, while law enforcement coordinated traffic control in the area. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that both eastbound and westbound lanes along MLK Blvd were shut down near the intersection as part of the emergency response.
