Los Angeles, CA (January 23, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday morning in the South Los Angeles area. The incident took place around 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of Wilmington Ave and E 118th St, according to California Highway Patrol reports from the South LA division.
Medics responded quickly and provided emergency care to the injured pedestrian before transporting them to a nearby hospital. The extent of the individual’s injuries has not been publicly released, though they were described as significant.
