The incident occurred around 3:53 p.m. and was treated as a Code Three emergency, prompting a rapid response from Central Traffic Division and medical personnel. Reports from the scene confirmed that a pedestrian was involved and required immediate medical attention.
Paramedics arrived shortly after the call and began providing care to the injured individual. Details about the severity of the injuries have not yet been released. In connection with the incident, one person was reportedly taken into custody nearby at Cypress and Pepper, though it is unclear whether that individual was directly involved in the crash.
