Los Gatos, CA (January 5, 2026) – One person was reportedly injured in a traffic collision on Friday morning on southbound State Route 17 just north of Brush Road in Los Gatos, prompting a response from emergency crews.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. and involved a silver Toyota Tacoma and a compact car. The vehicles collided in the southbound lanes, with at least one vehicle reported to be emitting smoke after the impact. One lane was blocked as a result of the crash, contributing to delays during the morning commute.
Fire crews and EMS responded promptly to the scene, where at least one person was treated for injuries. The injured party was later transported for further medical care. The full extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
