Louisville, KY (January 18, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Friday afternoon to a serious crash with injuries at the intersection of Bush Farm Rd and Old Henry Rd in eastern Jefferson County. The collision occurred on January 16 and involved a black Jetta and a silver Bronco, one of which may have been linked to a prior reckless driving report in the same area.
Medics and fire personnel arrived on the scene and confirmed that one of the drivers was trapped inside their vehicle. Emergency responders provided immediate aid to those injured and worked to safely extricate the trapped individual. At least one person was transported for further medical treatment, though the full extent of injuries has not been released.
The black Jetta involved in the crash matched the description of a vehicle previously reported for erratic driving along Old Henry Rd, moments before the collision. Authorities are now reviewing the sequence of events to determine whether reckless behavior contributed to the crash.
The intersection remained partially closed as law enforcement officers and emergency teams conducted an investigation and cleared the roadway. The Louisville Metro Police Department continues to examine the cause of the collision, and further updates may follow. Our thoughts are with the individuals injured in this incident as they begin their recovery.
