Montour, NY (January 18, 2026) – Several individuals were hospitalized following a serious car accident on Saturday afternoon along State Route 14 in the town of Montour, according to first responders at the scene.
The crash occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. near the 1800 block of Rt 14, just south of the village limits. Emergency crews arrived to find a damaged vehicle with multiple injured occupants. A landing zone was quickly established at the nearby Montour Falls Fairgrounds, where two medical helicopters were brought in to assist with urgent transport needs.
Firefighters on scene confirmed that all individuals had been extricated from the vehicle and were in transit to local hospitals.
