Omaha, NE (June 8, 2026) – A man in his 60s suffered severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of 42nd Street and H Street in Omaha on Sunday afternoon, June 7.
Emergency units were dispatched to the roadway around 2:32 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian collision. Initial reports stated the man was thrown about 10 to 15 feet during the crash and was unconscious when medical crews arrived. He later regained some responsiveness and was taken to a trauma center for treatment.
Officials reported the man had head trauma and a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 11 while being transported. No additional details about the driver or the circumstances leading up to the wreck were immediately released.
