Hubbard Township, OH (August 15, 2026) – According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 65-year-old Hubbard man was killed on Thursday, August 13, after being struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township. The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes.
Randall Kriebel was outside his vehicle after it stopped on the right shoulder. Troopers said Kriebel was in the right lane when a semi-truck hauling a trailer struck him. Kriebel was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his presence in the roadway were not immediately provided. The crash remains under investigation as troopers work to determine what led to the collision.
