Ste. Genevieve, MO (August 6, 2026) – A 30-year-old man was hurt on Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of MO-32 and Zell Road in Ste. Genevieve County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 4:21 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4. Investigators said a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was attempting to turn left from Zell Road onto westbound MO-32 when it failed to yield to an oncoming 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
The front of the Jeep struck the left side of the Silverado. The Jeep driver, a 30-year-old man from Ste. Genevieve, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment. No injuries were listed for the driver of the Silverado.
The Jeep and the Silverado both sustained total damage and were removed from the roadway by towing services. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under review as investigators continue their work.
