Detroit, MI (August 10, 2026) – A man in his 30s was killed just after midnight on Sunday, August 9, after a car struck him at Houston-Whittier and Hayes on Detroit’s east side. The driver remained at the intersection and cooperated with the police.
The man was pronounced dead at the intersection. Police said the driver did not leave the area following the accident.
