Olathe, KS (June 24, 2026) – A 29-year-old Olathe man lost his life following a traffic collision on Monday morning on Interstate 35 in Olathe.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Isaiah Foster was driving a 2008 Cadillac DTS southbound on I-35 when a 2021 Toyota Camry struck the rear of his vehicle. Investigators said the Cadillac deflected off the Camry and hit an outside barrier wall before continuing along the shoulder.
The Cadillac then traveled into a grassy section beyond the roadway, crossed a small hill, became airborne, and rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof. Foster died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the Toyota was reported to have suspected minor injuries. Additional details regarding the collision have not yet been released, although detectives continue to examine the factors that contributed to the wreck.
