Manhattan, NY (January 19, 2026) – One person was injured on Sunday in a residential fire that broke out on the 10th floor of a high-rise building near the intersection of East 112th St and 3rd Ave in East Harlem.
The incident occurred on January 18 and prompted a swift response from FDNY units, who arrived to find smoke and flames coming from a 10th-floor apartment. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other units.
