Marana, AZ (January 16, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash led to multiple injuries on Wednesday night at the intersection of Sandario Rd and Moore Rd in the Marana area.
Authorities stated the crash occurred just after 11:00 p.m., drawing a prompt response from local law enforcement and medical personnel. Initial reports indicate that at least two vehicles collided under nighttime driving conditions near the rural crossroads located northwest of Tucson.
First arriving units encountered damaged vehicles and individuals needing medical care. Several people sustained a range of injuries and were evaluated at the scene. Emergency medical services transported at least one person to a nearby hospital, while others received on-site treatment for non-life-threatening conditions.
Crews worked to stabilize the area while officers redirected traffic around the crash site. Visibility was limited due to the time of night, which may have been a contributing factor in the collision. The intersection remained partially blocked as investigators documented evidence and cleared debris from the roadway.
