Memphis, TN (January 10, 2026) – A two-car collision with injuries occurred on Friday afternoon on the westbound side of I-240 near the Walnut Grove Rd exit in Memphis, prompting a swift emergency response.

The crash was reported at approximately 3:26 p.m., and emergency crews responded to assist those involved. At least one person was injured in the collision, though the severity of the injuries has not been confirmed. Paramedics arrived on scene to assess and provide medical care.

Traffic along I-240 W was temporarily impacted as responders worked to secure the area and clear the vehicles involved. The cause of the crash and the total number of people affected have not yet been released.
