Miami Beach, FL (April 17, 2026) – A woman died after being struck by a box truck Thursday afternoon, April 16, in Miami Beach. The crash occurred around 1:27 p.m. at the intersection of West 41st Street and Royal Palm Avenue.
Emergency units responded to the scene and found the woman with severe injuries. According to authorities, the woman was crossing in the crosswalk when the truck struck her while turning onto 41st Street.
Bystanders attempted to assist before medics arrived and began life-saving efforts. The woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where she later died from her injuries.
