What Risks Are Common in Head-On and Turning Crashes?
Intersections like South Main Street and Highland Avenue often involve vehicles moving in opposite directions and making turns. In Middletown, these conditions can increase the chances of serious collisions when timing is misjudged.
Head-on crashes can occur when one vehicle crosses into the path of another, especially during left turns. These types of impacts can be severe because both vehicles may still be moving at speed when they collide.
Passengers may face a higher risk of injury depending on the side of impact. Factors such as vehicle position, speed, and angle of collision can all influence how serious the outcome is in these situations.
