Milton, NY (January 13, 2026) – A serious collision involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer on Monday morning left one individual hospitalized following an intense extrication effort by emergency responders.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:17 a.m. at the intersection of Galway Rd and Middleline Rd. The Ballston Spa Fire Department responded swiftly to the scene, where they discovered one person trapped inside the heavily damaged car.
Firefighters had to cut the vehicle’s roof off in order to reach the occupant safely. After being freed from the wreckage, the victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. The condition of the injured individual has not been publicly released.
