How High-Speed Crashes Increase the Risk of Fatal Outcomes
Speeding significantly increases both the likelihood and severity of crashes.
At higher speeds, drivers have less time to react, and the force of impact becomes much greater.
Collisions involving fixed objects, such as parked cars, can be especially dangerous due to the sudden stop upon impact.
