Walker, MI (May 21, 2026) – A 37-year-old Kentwood man was seriously injured on Thursday morning, May 21, after his minivan and a semitruck crashed in Walker.
The accident happened at about 7:24 a.m. near Alpine Avenue Northwest and North Center Drive Northwest. Police said the minivan driver was heading south on Alpine Avenue Northwest and tried to turn left onto eastbound North Center Drive Northwest.
A semitruck traveling north on Alpine Avenue Northwest struck the minivan. The truck driver, a 58-year-old Detroit man, was not hurt in the wreck. The reason behind remains under review as more details are confirmed.
