Sacramento, CA (August 28, 2026) – At least one person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, August 26 at the intersection of Florin Road and Excelsior Road in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the collision was reported at approximately 7:58 a.m. Initial reports indicated that a white Honda sedan and a black GMC SUV were involved in the crash, with the vehicles partially blocking the intersection.
The GMC Terrain sustained minor front-end damage, while the Honda Accord was reported to have moderate front-end damage. Both vehicles were later moved to the right shoulder.
The incident was initially reported as a collision with unknown injuries and was later classified as a minor-injury crash. Two tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
