Contra Costa County, CA (July 14, 2026) – A collision involving two vehicles on northbound Interstate 680 near Monument Boulevard in Contra Costa County resulted in minor injuries.
It happened around 3:52 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, and involved a yellow Ford Mustang and a black SUV. Initial information indicates the Mustang spun out before the vehicles came to a stop on the right side of the roadway. The Mustang also struck a sign, causing damage to the sign and pole.
