Mobile County, AL (June 13, 2026) – A morning hit-and-run crash in Mobile County left a pedestrian dead on Thursday, June 11, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The incident was reported at 3:26 a.m. on Three Notch Road. Authorities said 41-year-old Jobrandon Crayton of Grand Bay was walking or in the roadway when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle. Officials reported that the driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. Crayton suffered severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He later died as a result of those injuries.
No description of the vehicle involved has been released at this time. Investigators have not confirmed whether Crayton was crossing the roadway or standing in it when the crash occurred.
