Winter Garden, FL (July 19, 2026) – Two people were injured and treated after an SUV and sedan crashed on southbound Florida’s Turnpike near mile marker 274, just before State Road 50 in Orange County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:39 a.m. on Friday, July 17, and involved a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2016 Hyundai Sonata. Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash caused a roadblock and delayed drivers traveling through the area. The lanes have since reopened, and additional details about the circumstances of the collision were not released. Our thoughts go out to those injured in the incident and their families.
