Head-On Crashes During High-Speed Situations Can Be Severe
Head-on crashes often result in serious outcomes, especially when vehicles are traveling at higher speeds. The combined force of two vehicles moving toward each other can lead to significant damage and a greater risk of fatal injuries.
Situations involving pursuit or rapid driving can increase the chances of losing control. Sudden turns, lane changes, or attempts to avoid obstacles may cause a vehicle to enter oncoming traffic.
Other road users, such as service or work vehicles, may be at risk if they are in the path of an oncoming vehicle. Limited reaction time and high speeds make it difficult to avoid a collision once vehicles are on a direct path toward each other.
