Phoenix, AZ (August 11, 2026) – A motorcyclist was critically hurt Monday night after a crash involving a minivan near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The collision happened around 8 p.m. Monday, August 10.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition. Phoenix police said an initial investigation found that the motorcycle rider failed to stop at a red light while the minivan was making a left turn.
The motorcycle struck the minivan during the collision. The minivan driver was not hospitalized, according to the available report.
The investigation remains ongoing as police review the circumstances surrounding the collision. Our thoughts are with the motorcyclist as he continues to receive medical care.
