Davenport, IA (June 23, 2026) – A 42-year-old motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision near the intersection of N Division St and W Lombard St in Davenport on Saturday afternoon.
The collision happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. Investigators said a Jeep was traveling south on Division St and turning left onto Lombard St when the motorcycle attempted to pass, entered the opposite lane, and struck the Jeep.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. No other people were hurt in the accident.
The circumstances surrounding the wreck are still being reviewed by investigators.
