What Authorities Typically Review in Motorcycle and SUV Collisions
In motorcycle and SUV collisions, investigators often examine right-of-way rules, turning movements, and traffic signal timing to understand how both vehicles entered the intersection. Visibility and driver awareness are also key factors, especially when crashes occur in busy suburban corridors.
Roadway markings, skid patterns, and vehicle resting positions can help reconstruct how the impact occurred. In some cases, investigators may also review nearby surveillance footage or witness accounts to clarify the sequence of events.
Because motorcycle riders have limited physical protection, even moderate-speed impacts can result in serious injuries requiring immediate advanced medical care.
