Arcadia, CA (June 20, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision involving a passenger vehicle on Friday morning on the eastbound Interstate 210 near Michillinda Avenue in Arcadia.
According to dispatch records, the accident was reported at approximately 11:17 a.m. on June 19 in the HOV lane just west of Rosemead Boulevard. Initial reports indicated a motorcycle was down in the carpool lane, with the rider seated in the center divider following the collision.
Updates from the scene indicated the crash involved a motorcycle and a silver Mercedes. A person associated with the Mercedes reportedly told dispatchers that the motorcycle struck the rear of the vehicle. The driver had initially continued from the area because it was not possible to stop safely in traffic, then later returned.
The HOV lane and the number one lane were temporarily blocked while emergency units worked at the scene. Dispatch records later noted that the rider declined transportation from the scene, and arrangements were made to remove the motorcycle from the freeway.
