Kansas City, KS (May 27, 2026) – A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries on Tuesday evening, May 26, after two vehicles came together at 38th and Leavenworth Road.
Police said an initial review indicated a motorcycle and another vehicle were traveling westbound in a single lane on Leavenworth Road. As the vehicle made a left-hand turn, the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the left but lost control and went down.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, was not wearing a helmet and was left with life-threatening injuries and taken to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured and remained at the roadside.
