Chula Vista, CA (July 16, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision involving a white Toyota on northbound I-5 near the H St overcrossing Wednesday morning. The accident was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m.
According to initial dispatch information, a witness reported the Toyota was attempting to change lanes when it collided with the motorcycle. The rider was found in the right lane, while the motorcycle later came to rest in the center divider.
Emergency units were dispatched to assist at the roadway, and a tow truck was requested to remove the damaged motorcycle. The identity of the rider and the extent of the injuries were not immediately released.
