Cocke County, TN (July 5, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was killed in an evening crash at the intersection of East Highway 25/70 and Highway 107.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, July 3, when a minivan turned left from East Highway 25/70 and Highway 107 and collided with the eastbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Solomon Sealbury Sutton of North Carolina, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the minivan was injured, and officials said potential charges are pending the outcome of the investigation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with more information expected to be released later.
