Pensacola, FL (July 7, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was killed on Sunday, July 5, after a collision on New Warrington Road near Martha Avenue. Emergency units were called to the scene following the crash.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 22-year-old Pensacola man was driving a sedan north on New Warrington Road and attempted to make a U-turn at Martha Avenue. A 29-year-old motorcyclist was traveling south on New Warrington Road when the sedan turned into the motorcycle’s path and struck the rider.
The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike and landed on the west shoulder about 90 feet from the point of impact. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased following the crash. The sedan driver suffered minor injuries.
