Seneca, NY (July 7, 2026) – One person died, and another was injured after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday, July 5, at Kashong Switch Road and Wabash Road in Seneca. The accident was reported around 11:15 a.m.
A preliminary report said a man was traveling west on Kashong Switch Road when his vehicle and a car traveling south on Wabash Road collided. A passenger in the man’s vehicle lost their life at the scene.
The driver was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital with facial and neck injuries. The initial report did not release the names or ages of those involved.
The intersection was closed for nearly three hours before reopening.
