Brown County, OH (July 14, 2026) – A 28-year-old motorcyclist died after a three-vehicle wreck on State Rte 32 near the intersection of US-62 in Brown County on Monday morning.
The collision occurred at approximately 9:28 a.m., when a blue 2004 Yamaha FZ6 traveling west in the left lane struck the rear of a Volvo that was stopped at a red light. The force of the collision caused the motorcycle to hit another vehicle that was also stopped at the intersection.
The rider, identified as Charles Rump of Seaman, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The roadway remained closed for several hours while the crash site was cleared. The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
