East Farmingdale, NY (June 19, 2026) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured early on Thursday morning, June 18, after an accident involving a car in East Farmingdale.

Police said the crash happened at 5:27 a.m. on Allen Boulevard. Fernando Euvin, 62, was driving a 2015 Honda and attempting to exit a parking lot into another parking lot across the street when his car collided with a 2007 Honda motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was identified as 55-year-old David Gregory of West Babylon. He was brought to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip with serious injuries.

Euvin, also of West Babylon, did not report any injuries.

The East Farmingdale crash remains under review as investigators work to confirm the full sequence. We hope Gregory receives the care he needs and continues to recover.

Parking Lot Exits Can Create Risks for Motorcycle Riders

Parking lot exits can be dangerous when drivers enter or cross a road with moving traffic nearby. A motorcycle may be harder to notice than a larger vehicle, especially during early morning hours or when traffic is coming from multiple directions.

Motorcyclists have much less protection than people inside cars. When a car and a motorcycle collide, the rider may sustain serious injuries from direct contact, being thrown from the bike, or landing on the roadway.

Roads near businesses and parking lots can also feature sudden turns. Drivers may be watching for gaps in traffic, parked vehicles, signs, or pedestrians while riders continue along the street. After a serious motorcycle accident, reviews often focus on visibility, travel direction, turning movement, and where each vehicle was before contact.

1Seek treatment promptly after being injured in an accident. Your first priority should always be your health. Many providers offer treatment on a lien basis, meaning you can get the care you need now and pay later when your claim is resolved.
2Before speaking with an insurance company, make sure you have the facts. An official police report is the most reliable record of what happened and can help establish liability An experienced attorney can assist you in obtaining this report and using it to protect your interests.
3Consider having your case reviewed by a qualified attorney who can guide you through the next steps. They will safeguard your rights and pursue the compensation you deserve.

Focus on your recovery and
