According to West Jordan Police Department, a man believed to be about 30 years old was riding northbound when an SUV traveling southbound turned left to head eastbound. The motorcycle and SUV collided during the turn.
The rider was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Police said he is likely to lose his foot due to the severity of his injuries. The SUV driver remained at the site and cooperated with investigators.
