Elkhart, IN (June 22, 2026) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Friday afternoon, June 19, on County Road 6 in Elkhart.
The crash happened around 2:11 p.m. near 25999 County Road 6/Johnson Street. According to initial findings, a car traveling westbound on County Road 6 turned into the path of an eastbound motorcycle while attempting to enter a business parking lot. The motorcycle struck the vehicle, resulting in serious injuries to the adult male rider.
Emergency units provided aid at the scene before transporting him to a hospital for further treatment. His condition was not immediately available. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Elkhart Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team responded to assist with the investigation.
