Jurupa Valley, CA (August 4, 2026) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 60 East, west of Pyrite Street in Jurupa Valley on Sunday, August 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 2:55 a.m. Initial reports indicated a black motorcycle collided with a blue Mazda sedan. Dispatch logs later indicated that at least three vehicles were involved. The motorcyclist was found in the HOV lane with an apparent serious leg injury, while the motorcycle came to rest in multiple pieces across several traffic lanes. The rider was transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
The crash prompted the temporary closure of all eastbound lanes while emergency crews assisted the injured rider, cleared debris, and removed the damaged vehicles. Traffic gradually resumed after the roadway was reopened. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. We are thinking of the injured motorcyclist and wish them a full recovery.
